Lakeside Retreat - The Wolf Den - New, Fully Fenced Back Yard!! Elevate your Rocky Mountain retreat at 'The Wolf Den' — a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom log cabin in Pagosa Springs, CO. Situated near Lake Pagosa and just a few miles from downtown, this rustic-yet-updated vacation rental offers a convenient location near everything on your itinerary. You’ll be 25 miles from Wolf Creek Ski Area for winter adventures! After a day full of classic Colorado activities, unwind with a backyard barbecue or cozy up indoors for a family movie night. VRP-25-0262 max guest 6 We live in a small mountain town in Colorado. Mother nature likes to keep us on our toes, expect weather of varying degree and enjoy the sun when you get the chance. Always pack a jacket, bring sunscreen, and remember we live at altitude and altitude sickness is very real and very not fun! Drink lots of water, eat and be merry! Should you visit during the winter months know that: We get snow! During the winter months we boast the MOST snow in Colorado, and we mean it! Be prepared to have to drive in snow, park in snow, walk in snow and play in snow! We love our snow! If you are driving here, be sure to rent a vehicle or own a vehicle that has 4-wheel drive capabilities. Don't know how to drive in it? Pretend grandma is in the backseat holding a tray of gravy! Go slow. There is a pet fee of $40, with a limit of two pets, and pets must weigh 35 lbs or less. Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless otherwise arranged. Early check-in or late check-out is available for $15 per hour, which helps accommodate our cleaning schedule and preparation for the next guest. Please contact the property manager to confirm availability for late check-out. Failure to comply with the check-out time may result in denied access to the property or immediate eviction. 1st Floor: Family Room, Master Bedroom, and Master Bath 2nd Floor: Two Bedrooms Gas Fireplace: Located in the living area. While Pagosa Springs is a small, rural area with limited public transit options, there are several ways to get around: Personal Vehicle: The most convenient way to explore the area is by car. Whether you're heading into downtown Pagosa Springs, visiting hot springs, or venturing to hiking trails, driving offers the greatest flexibility. Taxi and Ride-Share Services: Local taxi services are available in Pagosa Springs, though availability may be limited. Ride-share apps like Uber and Lyft may operate in the area but are less common, so plan ahead if you rely on these services. Shuttles and Private Transportation: Some local companies offer shuttle services to nearby attractions, including Wolf Creek Ski Area, hot springs, and hiking trails. If you're visiting for outdoor activities, you might find outfitter services that include transportation. Surrounded by mighty pine trees, neighbors to the left and to the right and a beautiful scenic lake just across the road, guests will find themselves in the midst of peace and serenity. Located uptown and just 10 minutes off the beaten path guests will find rest and relaxation in this cozy home with amenities at their fingertips. 15 minutes from downtown Pagosa Springs and 10 minutes from uptown Pagosa guests will have in the palm of their hand many choices to choose from. With coffee shops aplenty, restaurants to roam, trails to meander, and lakes to explore we are sure you will enjoy your stay in beautiful Colorado. Guests may access to the lake but will need to purchase a permit for fishing, boating, or paddle boarding. THESE LAKES ARE FULL OF LAKE WEED ABSOLUTELY NO SWIMMING. You will however need to attain a permit/license for both. Just off the beaten path of Hwy 160 the drive into town is 5-minutes. Close to a plethora of amenities and 10-minutes from downtown Hot Springs, 45-minutes from Wolf Creek Pass this condo is a Goldie Lock's dream condo. Cooling the Home Like many homes in Colorado this home doesn't have A/C. Security / Damage Deposit Your deposit is for security and shall be refunded provided the following provisions are met: >No damage or loss to property >Check Out instructions abided by >Occupancy limits observed We ask that you please leave the home in the same condition as it was when you arrived.
