Dated, but clean and great location

The house and casita were very clean. The house is somewhat dated in that there weren’t an abundance of outlets. Kitchen extremely well-appointed. Location was very convenient, and even though on a busy street, wasn’t too noisy. We didn’t have Wi-Fi for the first day and a half, but it was resolved. Recycling bin inside the house would be a plus.

Our Third Stay in Royal Modern

Royal Modern is conveniently located for us to visit our son and his family. This is our third year staying in Royal Modern and there is so much we like about this rental. Our stay was enjoyable however the hot tub, one of the highlights of Royal Modern for our family, heated only sporadically. On our arrival Saturday we discovered it was not heating. A call was placed and Able arrived while we were at church Sunday and fixed the problem...or so we thought. The water was heated Sunday afternoon but the heater was not working by Monday when we were going to get into the water. I texted Able on Tuesday morning and unfortunately Able was working in Tucson that day but said he would be over Wednesday to look at it. Able had the hot tub heating by Wednesday afternoon but it was not heating again by Thursday morning. I did not bother to call at that time due to our leaving on Saturday morning, but we were all disappointed that we had very limited use of the hot tub.

You should consider hiring a new cleaning company! We had to wash the kitchen floor after noticing it was very dirty as well as the kitchen counters. I can send pictures of the filthy mop. Cockroach in laundry room Quality Control? - Cleaning was bad and someone paid $400 as we did? - when you have that many remotes (more than 5 in TV room) there should be instructions and you should make sure they have batteries and batteries that work? - your garbage/recycle day on Dack is wrong. It was Tuesday pick up and not Monday. - there are no oven mitts? - hot tub was dirty until Able came back to fix some items and deliver a working coffee maker and the garage door remote that was not available on check-in '- He also replaced all the burnt out light bulbs - we ran out of basic supplies like paper towels and toilet paper, which we bought. On the positive side, the phone help line and Able were great. They were able to address the concerns that we initially had. I rate our experience as 2 stars and not the 5 stars we paid for!
