Location wise, it's not bad. Very close proximity to the beach of course and within walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The pool is gated, clean and above average compared to other places we've stayed that have pools. The unit itself is decent. My only complaint was cleanliness. There were clumps of hair in the corners of both bathrooms, very obvious dirt/sand/food crumbs along the baseboards, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, we found kids toys left behind by the previous guests, kitchen and hallway floors were sticky. The only obvious cleaning that had been done was living room carpet vacuuming. The A/C problem referred to in previous reviews has been dealt with. It works fine and cools the place sufficiently. The living room A/C is quiet but the bedroom A/C is very loud. Overall, it could be worse. We'd stay here again but if you're a clean freak, I'd look elsewhere. We spent an hour or so the first night doing general clean up for the week.
The air conditioner sound like it was on its last leg in the bedroom and did not cool as it should. Also did not know about the elevator until we got upstairs after unloading our possessions with a handicap person. The bathtub filled up with water while showering which means the draining system was very slow. The kitchen could use some up to date silverware.
