The MidAmerican Energy Company Aquatic Center located at the Wellmark YMCA is less than a 5 minute walk!

Explore Downtown Des Moines by bike! Head to any B-Station in the city (there is one a few blocks from the building), purchase a 24 hour pass, select a bike and you're on your way! When you're finished, return your bike to any B-Station.

Explore the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, a vibrant, 7-acre public garden just a few minutes away. With beautiful design, restaurant options and several exhibits.

The Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge links the east and west sides of Downtown Des Moines. The bridge has two pathways - one for walkers or joggers and one for bicyclists. Lit by colorful, reflecting lights make this a beautiful site to see.

The Iowa State Capitol is beautiful and looks out over all of Downtown Des Moines from the East Village. Definitely worth a trip for a quick, FREE tour!

The Iowa State Capitol inside is just as stunning! Personally, one of my favorite things to do in Des Moines and it's down the street!

The Downtown Farmers Market on Court Ave. brings urban and rural communities together, with nearly 300 vendors from across the state on Saturdays from May-October. Locally grown produce, arts & crafts, food, and so much more! Less than 5 minute walk!

Des Moines Performing Arts Center is the place to be for live entertainment downtown. Several touring productions (Wicked, Hamilton, Lion King, etc.) have made an appearance.  Less than a 5 minute walk!

The Iowa Cubs call Principal Park home. Some games have a fantastic fireworks display with the Downtown skyline as the backdrop... that can be seen from the building!

Stroll through the 4.4-acre Sculpture Park and see artwork from 22 of the world's most celebrated artists. 

Three professional sports teams (basketball, hockey, & indoor football) call Wells Fargo Arena home. Also, several world-class entertainers have performed here such as Taylor Swift, The Eagles, Garth Brooks to name a few!  Only a 15 minute walk, via the Skywalk system!

Wooly's is a live music venue just a few minutes away. After the show, you'll have plenty of options for entertainment and dining!

The Lauridsen Skatepark (the largest open park in the nation) is just across the river, less than 5 minutes away.  This 88,000 square feet attraction will showcase Olympic caliber park and street courses and is truly a work of art.

The Iowa Tap Room: One Amazing Place!  A beer hall-style setting with 99 taps of Iowa craft brews and American food favorites.  Something for everyone!
