Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain Lodge was designed for families to come together. After exploring the local site, we strive to provide you a well-equipped, ultra-comfortable home on 10 acres of wooded land.

Upon entering the home, you will find a huge living room full of natural light and cathedral ceilings. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy watching a movie on the 65" TV, watch the birds as they enjoy food from the many bird feeders surrounding the deck or gather around the table to play a board game. Behind the enormous comfy couch is the little kid's nook, complete with a kid's kitchen and table. Make sure to say hi to Uncle Buck hanging on the wall, and for extra enjoyment, you can turn on his twinkle lights at night. You will also find a bookcase with games, puzzles, and books.

The expansive kitchen and dining room area is just off the living room with enough seating for 14. Enjoy family meals in this well-stocked kitchen, with basic spices, pantry staples, and excellent cookware. In the morning, help yourself to complimentary coffee or tea, pull out the large griddle, and whip up a batch of pancakes.

You will also find first-floor laundry and a half bath just off the dining area. You will notice a second full-size fridge and a second entrance in the laundry room, perfect for those who play hard outside. We also provide both laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

You will also find a master suite on the first floor featuring a king bed, 55" TV, a private deck, and a large en-suite bathroom complete with a jetted bathtub. In the master closet, you will find a pack and play, an Air Mattress, extra pillows and blankets, a baby monitor, and a high chair.

Head upstairs to check out the rest of the sleeping areas starting with the second-floor master featuring a King bed and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a shower/tub combo. Next to this master suite, you will find the full upstairs bath with dual sinks and a shower/tub combo. The "little bears" room is next, with a potential sleeping area for up to 5 kids. Twin over full bunk and a full-size futon will provide the best "sleepover" ever. We also have toys in the closet and a Teepee complete with twinkle lights to make the room even more magical. The fourth bedroom has two XL Twin beds for the "bigger bears" to sleep. On the balcony, two chairs fold down into twin beds for an optional extra sleeping area; feel free to move them into a room of choice.

Wind down in the evening with a cocktail or glass of wine and head downstairs to the game room and challenge your family or friends to a game of pool, foosball, Pac-Man, or pinball. (Shuffleboard arriving end of May 2022). Walk out of the basement double doors, enjoy an outdoor fire, and make a S'more.

We've equipped our home with all of the comforts you might expect (including a 65" TV in the main room, a 55" in the master, high-end appliances, and plenty of pillows), but we also have small touches, board games for the kids, puzzles, visitor guides, white noise machines, baby monitor, a pack and play, high chair, books, and a well-stocked kitchen. We've tried to think of everything we might want (and need) -- and wanted to bring it to YOU for your comfort and enjoyment.

The Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the neighbors are far enough away to not be disruptive but also close enough that would hear if loud music was being played outside.

You will likely need a car to get around, however the Mt Hood Express does run up and down the mountain at regular intervals and stop all along Hwy 26.

Please note, this unit undergoes periodic pest control to keep mice outside where they belong. Keep in mind that we are invading their space out in the country and they are simply looking for a warm place to live. We apologize for any concern this may cause you.

Pets are welcome with advance notice, agreement to the pet rules and payment of a pet fee. Reach out to management for specific details regarding pets.
