Looking for last minute travel apps offering discounts on vacation rentals? KTLA’s Rich DeMuro rounded up three of the best, including Whimstay!
“If you’re looking for savings on a last-minute vacation rental, check out Whimstay.” says Rich, “Whimstay features a lot of the same properties you might find on that airy travel rental website. But these prices are guaranteed to be the lowest or Whimstay will pay.”
Rich goes on to share about his experience using this travel app and also speaks about one of Whimstay’s new key features: Split Payment. Whimstay’s Split It feature allows travelers to split the total payment for their trip between multiple individuals. During the checkout process, users can invite fellow travelers to split payment for their trip between multiple individuals. Whimstay also has another unique feature called TripChat. TripChat allows travelers to chat with friends and family directly from the Whimstay app or website. This feature offers users the ability to share properties, react to messages, and collaborate on planning a group trip without ever having to leave the Whimstay platform.
In addition to Whimstay’s stellar suite of tools and functionalities geared toward the Next Gen traveler, we also are working on bolstering efforts to support our hosts and property managers by developing a simple platform for listing properties. Our Rent-by-Owner platform—coming soon—allows hosts access to new features which will help them better highlight their properties and amenities. We believe these updates will set Whimstay even farther apart from our competition.
